Andy, the founder of Andy's Designstudio, is a skilled freelance designer specializing in themed entertainment. With expertise in concept development, illustration, and graphic design, Andy brings imaginative ideas to life. At Andy's Designstudio, every project reflects his dedication to turning clients' visions into engaging visual experiences.
During his multimedia study at GLE (Graphic Lyceum in Eindhoven) Andy worked as a cleaner at Efteling, always dreaming about one day being a concept designer too. Next to school and work Andy also did voluntary work at Utopia, a cultural youth centre where he helped out with all kinds of tasks. From bar-tending to design and from stage building to operating stage lights.
Being a creative designer for over 25 years and working for various companies has given Andy tons of experience in various aspects of design. Starting out as a designer of interactive media, Andy worked with various software, such as 3D Studio Max, After Effects, Director and Flash. Later he specialised in print and packaging design.
Joining the NextGen Showcase as a participant in their educational program has given him a huge boost in achieving this goal. Having mentors Laura Marakowits and Alberto Bertini to guide our team, this educational program has given Andy the insights and experience needed to continue his 25 years designing career in themed entertainment.
